A EUROPEAN ARTIST

The Berlin office of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in

Germany is pleased to host in the Industry Rooms - und

Handelskammer in Potsdam, upon the request of the

Chamber of Commerce of Ascoli Piceno, an exhibition of

painter and sculptor VITTORIO AMADIO.

VITTORIO AMADIO, being an artist with a vast experience
and varied cultural and human interests, already had occa-

sion to make himself known to the public of Norimberg and

Rothenburg during the 1970's. One of the aspects which
distinguish him is his constant search for a mutual enrich-
ment through relations and direct contacts with different cul-
tures, so as to establish a continual dialogue with interlocu-

tors who are always new and of various nationalities.

AMADIO can be considered a "European artist" due to this,

along with the quality of his art being full of Mediterranean

colours but at the same time similar to Nordic expressionism

in form and structure.

By showing this artist our appreciation of his work, we hope

to establish more frequent exchanges with artists of different

nationalities, so that art can also contribute in bringing people

together even more in order to build a great "common

European house".
